Hello, I am Indrani - baker, cake artist and baking business coach.
I am a cake artist who has started her baking business twice in the past ten years! How it started
I had been working as a development professional in the social sector for ten years. But a health scare in 2014 made me realise life is too short to not follow your heart, which in my case lay in baking. So I handed in my resignation, joined a baking school and meanwhile began researching my business. HeartBakes was born in December 2014 and grew both times into a community loved home baking business.
While my baking business grew, I was also passionate about helping other bakers in their journey. I would see bakers struggle alone with pricing, getting new clients, and being undervalued by the market. The aspirations finally took shape in June 2024 with The Bakepreneurs Blueprint.
